I host Plex and Jellyfin media servers. Both are similar in features and functionality, and access must be granted to access either service.

Plex

Access to the Yeastdonkey Plex Server is granted to your personal Plex account managed directly by Plex. Send the email address associated with your Plex account to Yeastdonkey on Discord or by email. If you do not have an account, you can create an account here

Cons

  • Closed-source
  • Account data owned and managed offsite by Plex

Jellyfin

Access to the Yeastdonkey Jellyfin Server is granted via a locally-managed Jellyfin account. Contact Yeastdonkey on Discord or email with your desired username and an account will be made for you with a randomly-generated password.

  • Open-source
  • Account data stored and managed locally

Cons

  • Less attractive UI
  • Newer, less mature software
